The telephone rang its head off, and so we picked it up. It was the Easter Bunny saying, “The most egg-citing time of the year is here! Do you think you can find the eggs I hid?” We said, “By all means, on the double!”

If you’re going on an egg-hunt, you must put your best hop forward. Then you have to pick up your basket and tell everyone that you must go for peep’s sake. You might want to pack a parachute. Wally likes to carry his own egg basket. The Easter Bunny always leaves him dog snacks that taste like carrots, and Wally thinks they are simply irresistible.

Eggs can be hidden everywhere. That’s why you must keep moving and check the bathroom under the sink, behind the mirror, and even in the shower.

You must look in the kitchen behind the cups, the pans, and in the sink.

They can be underneath the couch, in the book cabinet, and on the dinner table.

And they can be hidden beneath ever tree and any plant in the enormously large garden. When you walk to the end of it, you might end up in France or Bombay.

Here’s the thing, we’re rather egg-cellent hunter gatherers. So we filled our baskets with lots and lots of eggs.

Afterwards you must have a picnic because hunting makes very hungry. The Easter Bunny passes by to hobnob, drink lemonade, and tell lots of stories! One story was about an egg from space. It was an eggstraterrestrial! The best thing about the Easter Bunny’s stories is that they all have a hoppy ending!

P.S. Did you know that you can track the Easter Bunny? Here you can see where he is!

It’s absolutely egg-citing!
