Once you add items to your cart, you can proceed to checkout. We will calculate and guarantee the lowest possible order total in your preferred currency, including any applicable duties and taxes, as determined by the destination’s customs authority.

Q: How will I know how much my order will cost?
A: Just add items to your basket and click select to check out. Global-e calculates and displays the order total in your preferred currency, including all shipping costs from our warehouse in Germany to your selected international destination, as well as any applicable duties and taxes imposed by the customs and revenue authorities in the destination.

Q: How much does international shipping cost?
A: International shipping is calculated based on a number of factors including the desired shipping speed, the number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the items, and the destination country. International shipping will be calculated and guaranteed during the Global-e international checkout based on the items you are purchasing and your shipping destination.

Q: Are there any additional costs that will be due upon receipt of my order?
A: As long as you select to prepay duties and taxes, the order total presented at checkout is the exact amount you’ll be billed by Global-e, and there will be no additional costs due upon delivery.

Q: How much duty and taxes are charged on international orders?
A: Duties (or customs tariffs) are set by the destination country customs authorities and determined based on a combination of the country of origin (manufacturing) of the goods being purchased and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries that Global-E supports. International taxes (such as Value Added Tax, or VAT) are set by the destination country. You will be able to view the guaranteed total amount of applicable duty and tax/VAT for your order within the Global-E international checkout.

Q: When am I billed?
A: Your credit card will be billed by Global-e at the time your order is confirmed.

Q: What will my credit card statement say?
A: Your credit card will be billed by Global-e, and your credit card statement will read “Global-e.”

The quoted delivery periods at the time of checkout should be regarded as non-binding guidelines and are valid from the day your order is being shipped.

The posted shipping time frame is contingent upon credit card approval and may be delayed should we experience difficulties in obtaining authorization. Global-e and cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, bad weather conditions or similar unpredictable circumstances.

All orders are dispatched with ‘No Signature Required’ and may be left at a residence deemed safe by the delivery company. If you prefer to have your order shipped with ‘Signature Required’ please contact previous to – or as soon as possible after placing your order, so that we may make arrangements. Please note that after dispatch, adjustments can not be made anymore.


Due to international trading agreements, and regulations, and due to customs and transport restrictions, Global-E and must adhere to particular shipping restrictions. We are unable to ship pressurized or flammable items by air at this time. Orders containing fragrance, acetone and aerosol products must be delivered via our standard shipping option.

There may also be specific exclusions relating to individual products or restrictions on certain products dependent on the country of export.

If you add a product to your shopping bag that we are unable to ship to your country, you will be notified at checkout. Alternatively, you can change your shipping address to a different destination where these restrictions do not apply.
